Manager, Controls Testing, Canadian Personal & Business Banking

Design governance and control requirements for products, processes, and channels across Credit, Non Financial, Liquidity, Market, and Environmental & Social Risks. Support the design, development, automation, and coordination of evidence-based controls while ensuring alignment with the Bank's Risk Management Framework and approved Risk Appetite. Interpret existing and emerging regulatory requirements to identify, analyze, and address gaps, including those raised through change initiatives. Monitor and advise on risk requirements within the defined appetite, conduct self-assessments to demonstrate control effectiveness, and coordinate remediation efforts. Facilitate training for business unit employees, provide quality control for investigations and regulatory examinations, and develop change management plans for strategic initiatives. This role contributes to the business's accountability for regulatory programs across applicable Tier 1 Risk Types and fosters a culture aligned to BMO's purpose and values.
