Job Summary
Supervise the daily activities of the contracts administration function, overseeing the preparation and administration of bids, proposals, negotiations, and contracts that adhere to company policies and legal requirements. Direct the work of staff while guiding compliance with complex contractual and regulatory standards, and develop policies governing the contract administration team. Lead negotiations with suppliers, partners, or customers, and manage personnel actions including hiring and performance management. Requires a strong understanding of the contract life cycle, applicable government regulations, and contract management software proficiency. Up to 25% travel likely.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Must have any type of one direct report or more
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time
- Must be able to travel up to 25%
