Job Summary
Manage the unit responsible for the production of customer-specific documents for new/existing business in accordance with corporate guidelines, underwriting policy, benefit specifications, and statutory requirements. Oversees the creation and maintenance of standard contract templates, implements strategies, projects and initiatives, and oversees contract template delivery and related sales support components. Requires leading processes to support all product lines, and managing performance, quality, and resource allocation. Role involves leadership and coordination across stakeholders, with emphasis on project management, analytical capabilities, and strong communication. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of health insurance contract operations experience plus 1 year of management experience (or 9 years with management). Preferred JD degree or equivalent leadership experience. Skills include knowledge of health products, underwriting requirements, regulatory filings, analytical and reporting abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management, customer service, and effective verbal/written communication to manage staff and drive collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of health insurance contract operations experience PLUS one year of management experience
- OR 9 years of health insurance contract operations experience PLUS one year of management experience
- Knowledge of health products and procedures

- Knowledge of external adjudication processes
- Knowledge of large or national account contract specifications and processing systems
- Knowledge of corporate marketing practices, health insurance product lines and Par Plan operations
