Manager, Continuous Improvement

Job Summary
Manage continuous improvement initiatives by identifying key system measures, selecting projects using Lean and Six Sigma tools, and driving DMAIC tollgate reviews to ensure finance targets are met. Direct the Industrial 4.0 strategic plan, overseeing digital transformation, automation implementation, and data visualization efforts with Power BI to support smart enterprise goals. Supervise a team by staffing roles, conducting interviews, and fostering a learning environment while ensuring compliance with EHS policies, ISO standards, and employment laws. Coach project leaders to eliminate barriers and establish a proactive problem-solving culture across the manufacturing department.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in one of following majors of: Industrial Management, Engineering, Science or relevant majors
- 8+ years of related working in hi-tech or smart enterprise manufacturing environment with the majority of the job of Continuous Improvement, Transformation, Digitalisation, Automation
- 3+ of management/leadership experience
- Experience in leading Lean-Six Sigma as a project leader
- All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards
- Depending on location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of the ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in working Project Management is strongly desirable
- Experience in using Power BI
