Job Summary
Lead the strategy and execution of an external thought leadership blog, creating content calendars, and serving as the primary writer while leveraging data to drive improvements. Manage internal amplification strategies for external initiatives, including divisional awards, media moments, and the executive podcast, while contributing to social media copy and strategy. Drive external executive reputation strategies to improve presence across SEO and GEO searches. Partner cross-functionally on key initiatives to manage high-visibility projects, gather stakeholder input, and deliver results. Openly contribute as a team member to identify opportunities and develop solutions addressing both internal and external needs. Ghostwrite content in the style and voice of leaders, simplifying complex issues to compel audience action.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
- At least 6 years of experience in corporate communications, content creation/management, internal or external communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, social media management, writing, or a combination
- At least 3 years of experience in communication, content or thought leadership strategy development for executive leaders
- At least 2 years of experience in ghostwriting
- 8+ years of experience in corporate communications, content creation/management, public relations, marketing or writing
- 3+ years experience in ghostwriting
- 3+ years experience editing using AP Style
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, English or Journalism
- Previous experience in financial services, technology, or similar organization
