Job Summary
Lead proposal, planning, and delivery of consulting engagements with a focus on strategy and planning services across private, public, not-for-profit, and Indigenous sectors. Execute business planning, feasibility studies, strategic planning, and operational planning while managing engagement scheduling, project financials, and variance recognition. Design new business processes and operating models, conduct stakeholder meetings, and generate new business opportunities through competitive proposals and local networking. Consult with clients to define workplace transformation strategies, maintain high-quality deliverables, and mentor team members toward professional development. Maintain flexibility to travel as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business, economics, political science or other related field
- 5 years of business consulting experience, ideally focused on transformation, operational improvement, and/or value creation
- Demonstrates a strong modelling (operational, financial) background
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in business and practice development
- Demonstration of advanced project management skills and tactics
- Proven people management, relationship building and leadership skills
- Experience working with a wide range of stakeholders and levels of management in individual and group facilitation sessions
- Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary
Desired Qualifications
- CMC, PMP, Lean or other related certifications are considered an asset
- Working knowledge of farm enterprises, primary producer and/or agri-business is preferred
- Experience working in an agriculture environment is preferred
- Prosci Change Management or other recent change management certification and/or Certified Management Consultant Certification are assets
