Job Summary
Manage all aspects of the construction and commissioning of one or more cement-plant projects valued from $500k to several million dollars in the USA. Responsibilities include setting deadlines, assigning duties, monitoring progress, reviewing vendor and contractor activity, coordinating with plant operations, preparing management reports on cost/schedule, supervising commissioning activities, ensuring problem resolution, and maintaining a safe workplace. Requires extensive experience in construction management (preferably in cement), strong safety focus, cost/contractor oversight, proficiency with construction drawings and project documentation, and ability to communicate effectively with employees, contractors, and regulatory/government entities.
Required Qualifications
- MSHA Certification required (or must obtain within reasonable period)
- Strong supervisory experience
- Experience managing multiple projects and contractors with budgetary oversight
- Strong safety focus
