Job Summary
The Compensation Manager is responsible for researching, establishing and maintaining the company’s pay system, ensuring pay scales comply with laws, and advising management on pay decisions and policy interpretation. Responsibilities include developing and evolving pay scales, monitoring compensation policies, designing creative solutions for compensation programs, assisting with promotion and retention strategies, budgeting the compensation department, and guiding salary surveys to meet objectives. Requires a bachelor’s degree in economics/accounting/HR or related field and at least 6 years in compensation, with strong communication and Microsoft Office skills; CCP or SHRM credentials are preferred. The role reports non-supervisory with a focus on alignment of pay structures to market trends and regulatory requirements, supporting company-wide compensation objectives across the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Accounting, Human resources or related field or equivalent work experience
- 6 years of progressively responsible experience in compensation
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
