Job Summary
Manager, Compensation Consulting at Marriott International provides consulting and analytical support for global compensation activities, including job evaluation, salary analysis and pay equity, incentive plan design and administration, and project execution. The role conducts market data analyses, develops data models to support compensation decisions, performs job evaluations, tracks survey matches and leveling, participates in incentive design and plan documentation, and supports the annual bonus processes. The position collaborates with multiple stakeholders across Human Resources, Legal, Talent Management, Data Management, and Finance while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and corporate policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related area
- 4+ years of progressive compensation analysis, incentive design and compensation administration experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently under limited supervision
- Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience interacting with associates at all levels
- Proven ability to analyze problems, assess risk, evaluate solutions and recommend actions
- Experience with job leveling and Exempt/Non-Exempt FLSA testing
- Experience with salary surveys and market data analysis
- Experience working on compensation projects in cross-functional teams
