Manager, Community Mental Health Services - Full-Time

Job Summary
This full-time managerial role oversees the operational management of outpatient mental health programs, including day-to-day operations, patient access and flow, people management, fiscal stewardship, risk management, and safety, with responsibility for delivering high-quality care and an exceptional patient experience. The position requires leadership to promote quality and safety, strategic and operational planning, program development and evaluation, staff development and performance management, budget oversight, and collaboration with inter-professional teams and community partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant Healthcare discipline
- Current registration in good standing with applicable professional college/licensing body
- 3-5 years progressive leadership experience in a comparable healthcare organization
- Demonstrated HR management and planning experience (recruitment, retention, safety, professional development)
- Strategic and operational planning, quality improvement, data utilization
- Quality and safety culture development
- Change management aptitude
- Strong participatory leadership, team-building, mentoring and coaching
- Conflict management and mediation skills
- Ability to build effective working relationships within a dynamic environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Results-oriented, client-focused with commitment to excellence
- Project/time management, analytical/critical thinking and decision-making
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related tools
- Must meet the definition of a competent person under the Occupational Health & Safety Act
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position
