Job Summary
Manager, Communications Design (Media Planning) leads production and application of media and market intelligence to contribute to an impactful communications/media plan. With direction from the Associate Director or Director, translates strategy into data-driven inputs, develops the media plan flowchart using tools such as Ripple/MediaTools/Lumina, collaborates with partnerships and vendors, mentors junior staff, and ensures timely delivery of client-ready plans and reports. Responsibilities include creating substantiated media plans and scenarios, delivering day-to-day requests, organizing client-facing tracking documents, developing RFP briefs with partnerships, overseeing flowchart development, leading audience data and intelligence work, contributing to ideation sessions with Strategy teams, managing updates from internal and external teams, and ensuring accurate billing and plan maintenance. The role requires experience in integrated planning, strong communication and leadership skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Wage and Benefits include comprehensive compensation and equity in a Total Rewards package. Salary Range: $80,000—$90,000 USD.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in an integrated planning role in media, publisher/vendor, or communications discipline
- Media planning skills must be sufficient and able to be taught to junior team members
- Ability to delegate, develop and oversee direct reports
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Required PC proficiency and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
