Job Summary
Lead commercial operations for existing customer programs by partnering with Business Development, Project Management, Laboratory Operations, and Finance to ensure successful execution while driving operational efficiency and business growth. Serve as the commercial lead to align customer expectations with contractual commitments, manage commercial agreements and renewals, and strengthen relationships to grow existing accounts. Drive demand forecasting, capacity planning, and portfolio management activities to support laboratory utilization and long-term planning. Monday through Friday first shift at the Kansas City, Missouri facility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in contracting, commercial operations, program management, account management, or other business-related roles within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology services industry
- Direct experience working within a BioAnalytics, Analytical Services, laboratory operations, quality control, analytical development, or similar scientific environment
- Strong understanding of laboratory workflows, testing operations, and the factors that impact turnaround times, capacity, and operational efficiency
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and business acumen
- Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams in a customer-focused environment
- Monday – Friday, First Shift
- 100% onsite at our Kansas City, Missouri facility
Desired Qualifications
- Candidates who have progressed from technical, laboratory, or scientific roles into Commercial Operations, Business Operations, Program Management, or Account Management are highly preferred
- 5+ years of experience in commercial operations, business operations, program management, account management, contracting, or related business functions within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CDMO, or CRO industry
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or PhD) in a scientific, engineering, business, or related discipline
- Experience within a CDMO, CRO, biologics, cell & gene therapy, vaccine, or broader biopharmaceutical services environment
