Job Summary
Assess risk implications of new initiatives and enhancements to existing products across Commercial Card, AP automation, and Merchant Services. Collaborate with product partners to identify opportunities for risk and control environment improvements while maintaining oversight and reporting as required. Partner with first and second lines of defense to ensure compliance with bank-wide policies, regulatory guidance, and network rules. Develop awareness of the risk framework throughout the Commercial Bank and create presentations leveraging internal data and industry benchmarks. Maintain a continuous improvement mindset to enhance risk identification, mitigation, and process efficacy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5 years industry experience in Payments or similar industry
- Minimum 5 years Risk Management, within merchant services/merchant acquiring
- Demonstrate an understanding of risk management best practice related to compliance, AML, credit, and operational risk within payments
- Issuing or Acquiring side experience with card networks
- Experience overseeing Fintech/SaaS vendor relationships
- Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to build strong collaborative relationship with internal partners throughout the organization including business development teams, operations, compliance, and all other areas of risk
- Embrace a client-focused
- Have desire to work in a team environment and willingness to backup team members as needed
- Be self-motivated and results-oriented, with a positive mind-set work ethic
- Be able to function effectively under pressure
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including PowerPoint, Excel (pivot Tables, Etc.) and Tableau
- Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist Certification (CAMS)
- Accredited ACH Professional Certification (AAP)
- Selected candidate resides in KeyBank footprint are expected to work on-site 3 days per week at the nearest KeyBank office (non-branch location)
- Remote Option: If the selected candidate lives outside of KeyBank's geographic footprint, the position will be considered fully remote
- Open to those residing in the United States
- Working within East coast hours required
