Job Summary
The Manager, Programmatic Commerce will leverage retail expertise to drive day-to-day management and tactical activation of programmatic commerce campaigns. You will lead audience and creative strategy development, competitive research, campaign setup, budgeting, bid recommendations, and weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting for activations across retailer networks and DSPs (e.g., Amazon, CitrusAd, Criteo, The Trade Desk, Walmart). Responsibilities include managing a team of direct reports, ensuring campaign compliance with guidelines, coordinating cross-channel testing and optimization, reconciling invoicing, and interpreting data to maximize client results and deliver optimal customer experience. The role requires close collaboration with client stakeholders, knowledge of retail bid management platforms (Pacvue, Skai, Epsilo), and the ability to navigate the broader retail media ecosystem. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus 3+ years in biddable media or paid ecommerce, and strong analytical and project-management skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Analytics, Marketing, Communications, Advertising; OR equivalent professional work experience
- 3+ years of experience in biddable performance media execution or paid ecommerce
- Experience managing a team of direct reports
- Experience across the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with retail bid management platforms (Pacvue, Skai)
- Experience in campaign management and optimization across multiple retail platforms (Amazon, Instacart, Walmart, Target, Kroger, Criteo, Google, Meta)
- Strong understanding of retail commercial elements (profit margin, inventory levels, forecasting, demand planning)
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners
- Self-starter attitude and strong project-management skills
- Strong drive to understand the retail landscape and trends in commerce media
