Job Summary
Manage a team of geographically dispersed Solutions Architects focused on Migration and Modernization services while directly taking ownership of key customer opportunities. Lead presales innovation by mapping current states, seeking stakeholder feedback, and creating collaborative plans to drive improvements in processes, tools, and reporting. Contribute to revenue by analyzing client requirements, designing solutions and roadmaps, and delivering compelling technical proposals and statements of work. Build and maintain long-term loyal client relationships, presenting Presidio solutions virtually and in-person to gain knowledge about client business requirements. Recruit, develop, and retain top Solution Architect talent through individual development plans and collaborative growth assessments. Work across internal business units and leadership to provide the presales team with necessary resources and demonstrate the impact of team members. Travel 25% to 50% as part of this remote role within Presidio's Modern Platforms services business.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
- 7+ years combined experience in either Consulting presales or delivery, including experience in leadership and/or management
- Experience with complex Cloud and Data Center Migration projects
- Experience with Microsoft and AWS migration funding programs
- Demonstrated ability to execute in a highly matrixed environment
- Strong presence and track record of engaging and influencing executive stakeholders
- An authentic and transparent leader who builds a culture of success through customer relevance and impact
- Strong operational skills in managing a budget and optimizing resource alignment
- Experience in organizational design and change management
- Consulting & presales experience
- Demonstration of Leadership, strong executive presence, and soft skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Depth of Industry Context and Solutions knowledge
- Understanding of Business Process and Digital Disruption
- Ability to present and capture the audience attention in a large room of employees, clients, or vendors
- Ability to lead by example
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively, in written and oral form, to a variety of audiences
- Intimate knowledge of and experience with Cloud, Data Center, Virtualization, and Enterprise architectures
- Proven Technical problem-solving and design ability
- Demonstrated ability to develop, mentor, and grow team(s)
- Must be able to travel 25% - 50%
