Job Summary
Manager, HCC R&D, Clinical Research/Medical Affairs role providing strategic health-care-compliance leadership across global R&D, Clinical Research and Medical Affairs. Partners with Global Clinical, Medical Affairs and R&D teams to identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks while enabling compliant and ethical innovation; serves as a trusted compliance partner to business stakeholders, offering practical guidance on clinical studies, investigator interactions, scientific exchange, and external collaborations; supports risk assessments, issue management and monitoring; collaborates with Legal, Privacy, Quality, Finance and other assurance functions to deliver coordinated compliance support; drives continuous improvement to simplify processes and strengthen compliance effectiveness. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years of healthcare compliance/clinical research experience, with strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Travel up to 15–20% domestic.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Compliance, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field
- 5–7 years of experience in healthcare compliance, clinical research operations, medical affairs, legal, audit, or related functions
- Working knowledge of healthcare compliance laws, regulations, and industry standards applicable to clinical research and medical affairs
