Job Summary
Manager, Clinical Quality Control Department is responsible for managing the Quality Systems team, ensuring the quality of clinical trial data and the efficiency/completion of quality-related tasks in compliance with study protocols, GCP, and SOPs. Duties include overseeing PTO management, timesheet approval, performance reviews, hiring, training of the Quality Systems team, monitoring audits, reviewing quality inputs/deviations, tracking trends, implementing quality initiatives and process improvements, ensuring data timelines for clinical trials, contributing to SOP revisions, training on external databases, and communicating issues to supervisors. The role is a regular full-time, hybrid position based at the Montreal site (3 days onsite, 2 days remote), with bilingual (English/French) requirements and a strong emphasis on written/verbal communication, customer service, integrity, and ability to lead and develop a team.
Required Qualifications
- College or University Degree completed
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the clinical research field
- 3 to 5 plus years related experience in management of a team
- Microsoft suite
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and industry specific manuals
- Ability to write advanced reports and correspondence
- Bilingual proficiency in English/French
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Integrity and discretion with confidential information
- Ability to develop strong trusting relationships to gain support
- Self-directed and proactive
- Customer service focus
- Able to work in fast-paced environment with conflicting priorities
- French language working environment preference in Quebec
