Job Summary
Provide clinical and operational leadership to a frontline patient care department, directly supervising nurses at Level 4 or 5 classification. Deliver services through multidisciplinary teams in an acute and community-based setting while managing operations planning, utilization, and risk management. Lead an interdisciplinary team to address client needs and ensure smooth transitions from acute care to long-term care. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve excellence in client-centered care, education, and research within a complex multi-site environment.
Required Qualifications
- Baccalaureate (Masters preferred) in a relevant clinical professional area
- seven (7) to ten (10) year's recent, related clinical and progressive leadership experience
- direct supervisory experience
- Current registration/membership with a recognized professional association
- Basic computer literacy with word processing, spreadsheet and/or database programs
- ability to utilize a computerized patient care information system
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
- ability to report their past receipt of certain vaccines or history of certain infections
