Manager, Clinical Laboratory - Histology - Full Time, Days

Validate new laboratory tests by collaborating with the director and administrative director to develop necessary testing protocols. Manage staff assignments, establish work hours, monitor staffing levels, and approve overtime requests. Oversee the entire team through supervision, performance evaluation, and personnel counseling while developing programs to address staff needs. Develop and implement laboratory operating policies, including quality control standards, and maintain records consistent with regulatory requirements. Participate in cost control activities to ensure effective service delivery and manage equipment procurement. Coordinate gross room activities, prepare departmental reports, and resolve administrative issues delegated by the Laboratory Administrative Director. Perform duties as the Laboratory Safety Officer and Quality Manager, including preparing for inspections and addressing quality-related issues.
