Job Summary
Provide leadership and management of all operational aspects of the Community Service Centre, including human resources, finance, office administration, and performance monitoring to ensure quality service delivery within budget. Establish collaborative relationships with community partners and NGOs to integrate service provision, while leading implementation of front-line changes aligned with corporate strategy. Develop unit plans focused on continuous improvement and address team performance issues effectively. Manage a significant Aboriginal workforce within Aboriginal communities, demonstrating strong cultural capability and commitment to culturally safe practice. Travel is required to local offices in Broken Hill, Dareton, and Wilcannia, with additional travel across South West NSW as needed. The role is a full-time, permanent position at Grade 11/12 level with a salary range of $154,231 to $178,369 p.a. plus superannuation and annual leave loading. Applicants must reside in or relocate to the district prior to employment.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in a social work, social/Behavioural Science, Welfare or related discipline
- equivalent knowledge, skills and experience with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
- currently reside within the district or relocate to the district prior to commencing employment
- Valid driver's license
- National Criminal History Record Check in accordance with the Disability Inclusion Act 2014
- Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012
