Job Summary
Manager, Claims Operations responsible for leading auto and other claims operations member service employees; coach and develop staff; drive process improvements; ensure risk and regulatory compliance; handle escalations; monitor workload and staffing; leverage data to improve operational effectiveness; guide projects as a subject matter expert; require Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, plus 6 years in customer service/operations/leadership with at least 2 years in claims handling; must obtain an insurance adjuster license within 6 months; available to work weekends/overtime; position located at Colorado Springs campus; relocation assistance not available; visa sponsorship not provided.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree OR 4 years of related experience in addition to minimum years required
- 6 years of progressive customer service, operational, military or leadership experience including a minimum of 2 years claims handling experience
- 2 years of direct team lead, supervisory or management experience
- Experience using and interpreting data to make decisions
- Acquisition and maintenance of applicable insurance adjuster license within 6 months time in role
- Experience with property claims (homeowners/dwelling) and knowledge of property claims contracts and interpretation of case law (preferred)
- Ability to work weekends and overtime if needed
- Existing manager or previous experience as a manager in property claims (preferred)
- CPCU or other insurance industry designation (preferred)
