Job Summary
As Manager, Claims Operations, you will lead auto and other claims operations member service teams, coaching staff to investigate, evaluate and negotiate claims, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with risk and regulatory policies. You’ll hire, develop and manage claims employees, monitor workloads, and partner with internal teams to enhance productivity and member experience while guiding career progression. The role requires in-office presence four days per week at one of the San Antonio, TX; Colorado Springs, CO; or Chesapeake, VA locations, with flexibility aligned to policy and business needs for active-duty military spouses.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree; OR 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree
- 6 years of progressive customer service, operational, military or leadership experience including at least 2 years of claims handling experience
- 2 years of direct team lead, supervisory or management experience
- Experience using and interpreting data to make decisions
- Demonstrated leadership, initiative, customer service and/or claims handling skills
- Acquisition and maintenance of applicable insurance adjuster license within 6 months time in role
