Job Summary
Develop, implement, and manage outreach and educational programs for the Chinese community under the direction of the VP Corporate and Community Health Services. Partner with Community Benefits, Business Development, and Community Relations leaders to create marketing strategies and chair advisory boards of volunteer physicians and community leaders. Engage the community through health education, screening events, and volunteer recruitment while collaborating with inpatient and outpatient managers to enhance cultural sensitivity. Fluently speak, read, and interpret Mandarin to accurately address the beliefs and preferences of the Chinese population in a multicultural environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social science, business, or healthcare related field or equivalent education from an accredited college or university
- Must be fluent in English and Mandarin, who can accurately speak, read and easily interpret Mandarin
- Cultural and ethnic expertise in the Chinese community in the greater Bay Area
Desired Qualifications
- Five years marketing, communications, education, and/or community outreach with program development experience in health care preferred
