Job Summary
Lead governance and cross-border initiatives between Prudential’s life JV in China and its asset management arm, supporting end-to-end board governance, director onboarding/offboarding, regulatory filings, Articles of Association updates, and governance framework enhancements. Plan and execute high-profile strategic engagements and bilateral initiatives, coordinate cross-functional inputs across Group Legal, Risk, Compliance, Audit, HR, and other functions, and prepare scripts, briefing notes, and talking points for senior leaders. Requires 3-7+ years in governance-related roles, strong stakeholder management with senior executives, bilingual Mandarin and English proficiency, ability to travel to mainland China, and familiarity with board governance and regulatory environments in China.
Required Qualifications
- 3-7+ years experience in corporate governance, audit, risk management, compliance, company secretarial or related functions
- Bachelor’s degree or above; legal, finance, accounting, risk management or related background preferred
- Fluent in Mandarin and English, both spoken and written
- Proven ability to draft high-quality bilingual materials
