Job Summary
Oversee equity and complex security valuations for financial reporting, tax compliance, and transaction advisory across medium-sized businesses and multinational corporations. Implement and improve valuation processes while preparing client deliverables, including reports and letters. Assist in reviewing third-party appraisals for audit support and develop, maintain, and apply Monte Carlo or lattice models using Excel and VBA. Review tax and financial reporting guidance governing the analysis. Requires 8-10 years of CFI & 409A valuation experience with ASA, CVA, or CFA certification.
Required Qualifications
- Commerce Graduate/Postgraduate
- 8 -10 years in business valuations in CFI & 409A
- In-depth understanding of valuation methods such as discounted cash flow, market multiple, market transaction, and option pricing
- Capacity to work independently on projects
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in valuation of complex financial instruments
- Valuation related certification including ASA, CVA, ABV, CEIV, or CFA
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and Capital IQ
- Ability to program in VBA and/or other statistical package
