Job Summary
Act as a key interface with functional teams for component selection in the NPI phase, identifying redesign needs and leading related efforts. Develop and execute commodity sourcing strategies based on business needs, supply base performance, and market trends. Lead special procurement programs to improve processes, establish commercial terms, and execute supplier negotiations to meet annual cost reduction goals. Manage bid and quote processes in NPI execution while working with Supply Chain, Sourcing, and Value Engineering teams to identify efficiency improvements. Establish goals, improvement plans, and monthly reporting for areas of responsibility. Provide market and industry intelligence to the organization.
Required Qualifications
- EE background
- 8+ years procurement experience in semiconductor
- Proven leadership, interpersonal, communication, and influence skills
- Strong analytical skill
- Proven ability to lead and achieve cost, quality, and time-to-market commitments
- Strong negotiation and relationship building skills
- Strong presentation and writing skills
- Ability to speak clearly and express opinions well in groups and in one-to-one conversations
