Job Summary
Category Manager role focused on modernizing procurement processes, building and executing sourcing strategies to reduce costs, improve supplier competition, and optimize purchasing across key direct materials (e.g., glass, packaging). Responsibilities include supplier evaluation and onboarding, cost analysis and market insight, identifying savings opportunities, building alternative supply, supporting RFQs and negotiations, and collaborating across Operations, Finance, Marketing, Consumer, and Quality. Opportunity to develop into category ownership with exposure to supplier strategy, cost modeling, and sourcing decisions in a forward-looking, strategic context. ISO compliance and continuous improvement activities are part of the scope.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in procurement, analytics, or supply chain
- Strong analytical skills (Excel required)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be skilled in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proficient presentation skills
