Job Summary
Define and execute financial objectives for the casualty portfolio by benchmarking Chubb against competitors and managing underwriting integrity for P&L, combined ratio targets, and GWP/NWP goals. Lead relationship management with brokers and distributions to achieve annual and five-year goals while overseeing portfolio review actions, UW audits, and regional underwriting controls. Collaborate with Claims, Risk Engineering, Operations, Credit Control, and Legal teams to optimize product offerings, ensure timely delivery of quotes and policies, and maintain compliance with Thailand's Office of Insurance Commissioner. Provide performance feedback to P&C Managers, set clear deliverables, and manage succession plans for Country Line Managers and Regional roles.

- Full understanding of distribution channels and their business needs
- Benchmarking Chubb against competitor offerings and positioning
- Manage the casualty book of business
- Ensure portfolio underwriting integrity of the P&L
- Meet combined ratio targets
- Meet GWP/NWP goals
- Develop risk selection and underwriting standards
- Execute on portfolio review action items
- Execute on UW Audit process
- Manage underwriting authorities
- Manage referrals
- Manage peer reviews
- Ensure underwriting discipline and controls are in place and being followed
- Manage Multinational Business
- Manage relationship with brokers
- Work with distributions to achieve annual and rolling 5-year goals
- Understand the needs of different distributions and segments to develop Chubb's product offering
- Work closely with the Claims team to increase understanding of clients and portfolios
- Regular communication with Regional Risk Engineering Manager to ensure engineering fits business needs
- Work closely with Operations and Credit Control to deliver quotes, cover notes, policies, invoices, and booking of premium in a timely manner
- Work closely with Legal and Compliance on wording
- Ensure compliance at all times
- Manage all requirements from Thailand's Office of Insurance Commissioner (OIC) related to casualty
- Provide feedback to P&C Managers on the performance of Casualty UW's
- Ensure team understands annual objectives and expected deliverables
- Have clear goals
- Receive on-going feedback
- Perform adequate performance management
- Have the right talent on board
- Have a succession plan in place for Country Line Managers and Regional roles
