Job Summary
Manage daily workforce planning, staffing assignments, and resource allocation while leading unionized teams to meet Service Level Agreements and productivity targets. Accountable for safe, efficient cargo operations, you will oversee workplace health and safety programs, incident reporting, and corrective actions. Monitor Profit and Loss statements, track quality standards, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001 standards. Address customer concerns and build relationships with internal stakeholders, airport authorities, and union partners. Available for a flexible schedule to support operational needs, including inclement weather.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience within the industry
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Previous experience in a unionized environment and dealing with a union
- Strong customer focus with a commitment to operational quality, continuous improvement
- knowledge of general office operations, and business support functions
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, as required to support operational needs
- Highly reliable professional with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to operational excellence
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive continuous improvement
- Ability to work in inclement weather
