Job Summary
Manage outpatient and inpatient cardiac catheterization and EP lab operations, ensuring effective delivery of patient care consistent with applicable laws and standards. Plan and organize resources to achieve optimal clinical outcomes, monitor performance against national benchmarks, and correct course as needed. Schedule procedures efficiently, collaborate with physician partners, and maintain constant readiness for Joint Commission, CDPH, and CMS inspections. Lead departmental goal setting, develop action plans for resource needs, and implement systems for safe, effective care. Establish and manage capital and operational budgets, review financial reports, and identify process improvement opportunities to meet service objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's: Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
- 8 years recent relevant experience
- Knowledge and understanding of California Department Health of Public regulations
- Joint Commission standards
- Medicare Conditions of Participation
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including team building, and coaching/mentoring with the ability to motivate and engage others
- Thorough understanding of operations and workflows and how department's process/workflow impacts other department operations
- Demonstrates understanding of business and operational requirements
- Ability to develop and manage a budget
- Demonstrates tactical and analytical thinking and planning skills, and is able to develop plan to accomplish objectives, identify obstacles and resolve operational issues
- Knowledge of emerging treads and how it impacts operations
- Ability to build and establish effective working partnership with employees, peers and/or leaders to achieve business objectives
- Verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills
