Job Summary

Manager, Capacity Development who will cultivate relationships with First Nations FAL clients to support achieving FMS certification and develop capacity-building resources (tools, templates, webinars, tutorials, and workshops). The role includes facilitating change management for FMS certification, coordinating with external researchers and institutions (e.g., AFOA Canada) for training materials, providing post-certification support, delivering presentations at national and regional conferences, and traveling to remote locations as needed. The position requires a degree in a business-related field, preferably with CPA or CAFM designation, strong experience in audits and internal controls, proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel), and ability to engage clients to foster capacity and governance improvements within Indigenous governments; bilingual English-French is an asset. Required Qualifications

  • A Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another business-related field
  • Minimum of five years of experience in planning and conducting internal or external audits of internal control over financial reporting or similar; and/or planning, monitoring and reporting activities or funding agreements
  • Must be fluent in English (spoken and written); French an asset.
