Job Summary
Manager, Business Valuation (Healthcare) responsible for sourcing, scoping, managing engagements, delivering valuation analyses (DCF/income, asset and market approaches) across healthcare clients, maintaining client relationships, coordinating team training and development, communicating project status, ensuring on-time delivery, and promoting VMG’s services. Requires leading team members, driving engagement profitability, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and contributing to internal training and publishing at least one article annually; travel up to 10%, hybrid in-office structure with 4 days in-office in Dallas. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; strong communication, client-facing skills, and ability to mentor staff.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of combined business valuation or relevant healthcare industry experience with specific knowledge and application of the following valuation methodologies; discounted cash flow (DCF)/income approach, asset approach and market approach.
- Bachelor of Business Administration with course work in Accounting and Finance and or Master’s in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting.
- Candidate must demonstrate understanding of value drivers within the healthcare industry and must demonstrate an active understanding of the rules and regulations affecting the healthcare industry, not limited to Stark laws and Anti-Kickback statues.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, financial and valuation theory
- Financial modeling experience
- Mastery in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to provide appropriate customer service, both internally and externally, is a material part of the job.
- Ability to develop and lead team members through training and mentoring.
- Travel: 10%
- Office: Hybrid - 4 days in office
