Job Summary
Lead and manage a team of associates in the preparation, review, and electronic filing of Form 5500s for a diverse portfolio of employee benefit plans and direct filing entities. Oversee the gathering, analysis, and interpretation of financial and participant data to ensure accuracy and compliance with ERISA and IRS regulations. Deliver on client needs across the Form 5500 compliance services, including Forms 5500, 8955-SSA, 720, and 5330. Act as the first point of contact for internal teams across service lines and external clients and auditors. Facilitate risk and financial performance of engagements, including billing, collections, and project budgets. Monitor evolving compliance requirements for Form 5500 filers. Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and responsibility in line with KPMG's culture.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five years of recent, relevant experience in employee benefit plan compliance, tax or audit, with at least two years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Licensed CPA, JD/LLM or EA, in addition to others on KPMG's approved credential listing; if not possessed at hire, must obtain within one year
