Job Summary
Coordinate and lead business management functions including financial forecasting, Earned Value Management, and monthly reporting for the Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) OU. Oversee key line forecasting, work authorization, program budgeting, estimate at completion, and various financial reporting activities while developing business strategy through long-range and annual operating plans. Support pricing and proposal activities from draft RFP to award, manage risks across multiple contract types, and ensure compliance with all NGC policies and internal controls. Provide direct management for a team of Business Management analysts and present financial data, variance analysis, and forecasts to senior management. This onsite 9/80 schedule role requires 10% domestic travel and reports to the Director of Business Management within the Navigation & Cockpit Systems BU.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher with 8 years of industry related experience in finance, accounting, or program control
- Master's degree with 6 years of experience
- 12 years of applied experience in lieu of degree requirement
- Understanding of DOD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, and the FAR
- Prior experience with government program budgeting and forecasting
- Annual Operating Plan development
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with Earned Value Management
- Experience with SAP
- Prior people leadership experience
- Prior experience in proposal preparation and BOE preparation and evaluations
- The ability to travel domestically 10% of the time
- U.S. Citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or related field of study
- Experience with financial systems such as COBRA, COGNOS, Business Warehouse, MPP
- Prior experience preparing and presenting financial analysis to team and/or management
- Prior experience the Aerospace and Defense industry
- Experience in Cost CDRL preparation
