Job Summary
Manager, BI & Insights for Global Banking Transaction Banking leads end-to-end delivery of business insights by partnering with business stakeholders, analytics engineering teams, and technology teams. Design visually impactful dashboards, develop scalable data models, and deliver actionable insights across Sales, Product, Channels, Operations, Strategy, and Risk. Collaborate with Salesforce CRM teams to define enhancements and resolve data quality issues; support ad hoc analyses; ensure governance and access controls across the BI ecosystem; identify and remediate data/reporting issues; act as a trusted advisor for GTB analytics; develop automation and reporting tools for portfolio management; coordinate with Analytics Engineering and Advanced Analytics teams; build relationships with stakeholders across GTB boundaries. Requires strong technical skills in Power BI, SQL, data modeling, ETL, and cloud technologies (Azure Databricks, Google BigQuery); 5+ years in BI/analytics; Bachelor’s degree, with MBA as asset; knowledge of Canadian banking/payments industries; located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
- Master’s degree or MBA considered an asset
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, insights, or related fields
- Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Power BI, SQL, and data modeling
- Solid understanding of ETL processes, data mining, profiling, cleansing, and enrichment
- Hands-on experience with cloud technologies such as Azure Databricks and Google BigQuery
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of the Canadian banking and payments industries
