Job Summary
Develop and execute short- and long-range business plans to drive profitable growth for OSI-OKC products and services. Conduct negotiations, contract development, and due diligence for strategic alliances and licensing agreements while ensuring inclusion in Approved Vendor Lists. Identify and prioritize new business prospects through field interactions, providing training to Authorized Representatives and collaborating with the Sales department to build relationships with key decision-makers. Deliver timely status reports on prospects and competitive developments, representing the company at industry functions and trade shows. Design and update the OSI-OKC website and develop sales literature, while performing critical data analysis to generate financial and business recommendations. Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, adhering to all safety protocols and HSE programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field or equivalent
- At least eight (8) years of experience in direct sales in the manufacturing or oil & gas industry
- At least five (5) years of experience in a supervisory role in a Sales environment
- Must obtain and maintain Authorized Driver status as defined by the Oil States Company Vehicles and Drivers policy
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
- Frequent domestic overnight travel required
- Occasional international overnight travel
- Demonstrated knowledge of compact ball valves and all other products manufactured by OSI-OKC
- Ability to obtain and maintain a thorough knowledge of OSI-OKC products
- Ability to speak, write and read English
- Willingness to work additional hours to meet tight deadlines
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects daily in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

- Experience working in concert with the Sales department and VP – Valve Technology to develop relationships with decision-makers
- Experience providing timely and informative status reports on all prospects and competitive developments
- Experience representing OSI-OKC at industry functions, including trade shows and other Oil States International marketing programs
- Experience assisting the Sales department with effective training of Sales Agents regarding products manufactured at OSI-OKC
- Experience performing critical data analysis and developing sound financial and business recommendations based on data and market knowledge and experience
- Experience following and supporting established HSE programs
- Experience reporting unsafe situations to appropriate team members as necessary
