Job Summary
Develop and execute short- and long-range business plans to drive profitable growth of OSI-OKC products and services. Ensure the business unit is included in applicable Approved Vendor Lists and conduct negotiations, contract development, and due diligence for strategic alliances and licensing agreements. Identify and prioritize new business prospects by interacting with field Authorized Representatives, while providing training on prospect identification and targeting. Represent OSI-OKC at industry functions and trade shows to enhance company exposure. Design and update the company website, develop sales literature, and assist Sales Agents with product training. Perform critical data analysis to generate financial and business recommendations, ensuring all activities align with organizational vision and safety protocols. Requires Bachelor's degree, eight years in direct sales within manufacturing or oil & gas, and five years in a supervisory role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field or equivalent
- At least eight (8) years of experience in direct sales in the manufacturing or oil & gas industry
- At least five (5) years of experience in a supervisory role in a Sales environment
- Must obtain and maintain Authorized Driver status as defined by the Oil States Company Vehicles and Drivers policy
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
- Frequent domestic overnight travel required
- Occasional international overnight travel
- Demonstrated knowledge of compact ball valves and all other products manufactured by OSI-OKC
- Ability to obtain and maintain a thorough knowledge of OSI-OKC products
- Ability to speak, write and read English
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects daily in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Willingness to work additional hours to meet tight deadlines
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to establish and maintain constructive working relationships with people
- Strong problem-solving and business acumen skills
- Ability to identify and develop prospects through a variety of sources
- Be able to make effective sales presentations to potential customers
- Exceptional networking and business relationship skills and abilities
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn to produce new products, use new procedures, and embrace and support change
- Follow and support established HSE programs
- Perform all tasks as required of a Safety Sensitive position
