Job Summary
Lead and expand sales efforts for aircraft ground support equipment and tooling to airlines, MROs and leasing companies; manage end-to-end proposal development including RFI/RFQ responses, bid strategies, and pricing; negotiate contract terms, pricing and delivery schedules; build strategic relationships with procurement and logistics decision-makers; collaborate with engineering and operations to tailor GSE solutions; conduct market research on commercial aerospace trends and competitors; travel to customer sites for engagements and feedback; develop and execute comprehensive business development and sales strategies aligned with company goals; identify opportunities within the U.S. aviation segment and lead pursuit from opportunity identification through contract execution; maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, International Relations, or a related field
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or program management focused on U.S. aviation markets, with a strong record of securing contracts or partnerships
- Demonstrated success selling to aviation markets, preferably aerospace or GSE-related products
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and proposal-writing skills
- Willingness to travel (40-50%) as needed for customer engagement and industry events
- Strong network of contacts within the commercial and aviation industry
- Familiarity with aircraft maintenance operations and GSE systems
