Job Summary
Manager, Business Development for the Private Capital Industry Group in APAC (Hong Kong) drives APAC private capital BD initiatives to grow client engagement and revenue. Responsibilities include building industry knowledge of private capital, analyzing market and client insights, coordinating delivery of Industry Group initiatives across practices and regions, leading APAC-focused industry events and client trainings, supporting go-to-market campaigns and thought leadership, developing APAC-focused marketing collateral and credentials, and collaborating with Marketing, Content, and Paid Media teams. This role acts as the APAC BD lead for the Private Equity, Investment Funds and Private Credit pillars, coordinating internal APAC industry group meetings, communications, and updates, and supporting awards, rankings and directory submissions, while aligning with firm policies and cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Native-level English fluency required
- Experience with private capital clients preferred (private equity/private credit)
- Experience at first-tier international law firm and/or business development roles with private capital focus preferred
- Experience delivering business development or marketing activities within a professional services environment
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
- Clear and effective communication skills and collaborative working style
