Job Summary
Manager, Business Development – CRE Markets leads a high-volume inbound and outbound outreach engine for commercial real estate, translating CRE knowledge into sharper targeting, messaging, and qualification. The role coaches and develops a team of BDAs, owns pipeline generation with clear KPIs (call volume, meeting conversion, qualified opportunities), and operationalizes scalable processes from lead routing to call cadences. It also involves recruiting and ramping BD talent, aligning with Sales and Marketing to prioritize high-value accounts, and using CRM/sales tools to drive visibility and efficiency in a data-driven growth engine. The position requires CRE experience and leadership in fast-paced, high-activity environments, with a focus on engaging developers, owners, and capital partners and communicating effectively with senior CRE stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Commercial real estate experience required: 4–8+ years in CRE, ideally as a broker team lead, inside sales manager, or investments/ acquisitions deal teams lead
- Experience managing call-heavy, metrics-driven teams (brokerage floor, inside sales, or call center environments)
- Proven ability to drive structured outreach and pipeline generation
- Experience working with sophisticated buyers (developers, owners, brokers) in CRE
- Strong operational rigor and process orientation
- Ability to coach, develop reps in real time and model best practices
- Familiarity with modern sales tools (Salesforce/HubSpot, Salesloft/Outreach, ZoomInfo, intent platforms) and openness to AI tools to improve productivity
- Excellent communicator and leader with a track record of motivating teams while maintaining accountability
