Job Summary

Manager - Business Channels (Customer Service & Operations) is responsible for both the execution and control of branch financial transactions, accepts and processes transactions during peak periods, approves high value transactions for junior staff, and manages subordinate Tellers and CSEs. Role includes back office processing and control functions, ensuring internal control and compliance, championing service performance (queue management, complaint handling, SST uptime, customer experience), audit of teller-related transactions, staff capacity planning, and succession planning for 2nd liners. Drives CASA deposit base growth and customer growth with cross-selling, works toward Unit Trust and Banca certification, and may perform Relief Branch Manager duties when required. Represents the bank in community relationship-building and contributes to process improvement and cost-down initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma/Degree Holder
  • Experience in Financial Institution or banking operations
  • Knowledge of BSA, ECM, ABM Rules, BASEL II, FATCA
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
  • Good organizational & planning skills
  • Certification/Licensing Requirements: PCE (general), PCE (life)
