Job Summary

Respond to RFI's, host site visits and delegations, and coordinate with local stakeholders to introduce national and international businesses to the Greater Philadelphia Region. Develop professional relationships with clients, brokers, and partners through industry events, while tracking project activity and reporting on interactions with government employees and civic leaders. Manage conference and trade show execution, including outreach to prospects, marketing material coordination, and social media engagement. Support regional marketing efforts by collaborating with Marketing, Research, and Talent teams to provide input on assets and present at events. Serve as a Partnership representative at government, civic, and community events, driving engagement with local stakeholders and investors to improve outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Bachelor's degree or higher with emphasis in related area (e.g., Business Administration, Political Science, Urban Planning, Economic Development, Economics, Public Administration)
  • Experience with research analysis, spreadsheets, and economic development related databases
  • Valid passport
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and related productivity and collaboration tools, including artificial intelligence tools to support efficiency and productivity
  • Minimum of two core in-office days per week
  • Out-of-region travel

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in economic development, commercial real estate, and business development
  • Experience with one or more of the Partnership's opportunity industries (e.g., Biomedical Engineering and Production, Precision Manufacturing in Industrial Technologies, and Enterprise Digital Solutions) and/or the Chamber's industry sectors (e.g., Life Sciences, Tech, Manufacturing, Defense, Food & Beverage, etc.) of focus
  • Knowledge of the Greater Philadelphia region and its business and political community and/or understanding of the region's economic landscape
  • Tri-state economy understanding
  • Key industry sectors understanding
  • Regional assets understanding
  • Public- and private-sector partners understanding
