Job Summary
Manager, Business Application Development leading the India-based Salesforce team to deliver high-quality Salesforce solutions. Owns delivery of Salesforce work from inception to completion, aligns with US-based leadership, and drives platform direction, design, tests, and deployments. Responsibilities include managing global developers and admins, removing blockers, enforcing secure coding practices, driving adherence to coding standards, and enabling continuous delivery using DevOps/CI-CD tools (Copado). Required Salesforce expertise (Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Lightning, APIs), experience with Sales Cloud/Service Cloud/Community Cloud, integrations (SOAP/REST/Bulk APIs), and Platform App Builder/Developer certifications. Strong written English communication, leadership, and a track record of building and developing engineering teams are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of Salesforce development experience with Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Lightning components, triggers, batch Apex, Salesforce APIs, flows, validation rules, roles, and profiles
- 3+ years of people management experience, including performance management and team development
- Strong written English communication skills; ability to communicate asynchronously and in real time with US-based stakeholders
- Proven track record of building teams that deliver and developing engineers technically and professionally
- Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud
- Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications via SOAP, REST, and Bulk APIs
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps and CI/CD, preferably Copado
- Platform App Builder and Platform Developer I certifications required; Platform Developer II and Application Architect preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, or a related field required; Master's degree a plus
