Job Summary
Manage a portfolio of China-connected clients, including mid-market businesses and foreign-invested enterprises, by delivering high-quality tax and business advisory services on cross-border structuring and international operations. Lead end-to-end engagement delivery from scoping to technical review, while overseeing compliance, reporting, and budget management to ensure regulatory adherence. Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, identify business development opportunities, and coach consultants to drive performance. Collaborate across KPMG's Australia, China, and global networks. Based in Sydney, Brisbane, or Melbourne, this Manager-level role requires CA/CPA qualification and strong Mandarin skills.
Required Qualifications
- Manager-level experience in tax advisory or professional services
- Strong background in international or China-related tax
- Proven stakeholder management and project delivery skills
- Experience leading and developing teams
- Commercial mindset with a focus on growth
- Completed CA/CPA or equivalent qualification
- Location: This role can be based in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with China-connected clients or cross-border engagements
- Business level Mandarin (spoken and/or written) (highly regarded)
