Job Summary
Manager, Business Analytics for Financeit's Core Lending Platform owns the system from business rules through data reporting, leading a rebuild of key components to support next growth phase. You will ensure the homegrown system-of-record captures every payment, fee, loan modification, write-off, repossession, and reporting output with precision, reliability, and explainability across accounts and touchpoints. The role drives regulatory-aligned business rules, translates complex requirements into prioritized epics and sprints, and collaborates with Finance, Operations, Risk, and Data Science to enable success and audit-ready reporting. You’ll map and re-engineer existing rules and processes, identify cross-cutting solutions from platform to UI to data layers, document algorithms and data sets for seamless knowledge transfer, and contribute to a culture of curiosity and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate brings a system-owner mindset, strong technical architecture and data engineering skills, superb problem-solving and communication, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment while delivering high-quality, scalable solutions. Required Qualifications
- University degree in Engineering, Math, or Computer Science
- 6+ years of full-time and/or internship/PEYas a backend Product Manager / Owner, Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Data Architect, or Process Engineer
- Advanced process mapping, data mapping, process engineering, data engineering, and financial modelling skills
- 4+ years of applied experience delivering actual products built from stakeholder requests, cross-functional inputs and business requirements
- Proficiency with dbt, SQL, Python, and agile development tools including JIRA, Confluence, and Miro will be highly valued
- Experience working in indirect (B2B2C) lending, and/or delivering functional solutions supporting accounting, capital markets, customer service and/or collections & recoveries teams at a financial institution would be a strong asset
- A balanced sense of confidence & humility with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and bring energy and enthusiasm to team culture
