Job Summary
Branch Manager responsible for driving sales growth in Airgas retail stores in Amarillo, overseeing customer relationships, product selection and technical support, inventory and merchandising, ordering and delivery coordination, and reporting. Supervises and develops direct reports, ensures store operations compliance, and collaborates with Distribution Manager and drivers. Requires leadership experience in a customer-facing environment, ability to lift heavy loads, forklift operation certification, strong computer skills, and effective communication.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of prior demonstrated management or leadership experience in a customer facing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and occasionally up to 125 lbs. with the aid of material handling equipment.
- Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.
- Ability to operate a forklift and become certified.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
