Job Summary
Provide advisory support for risk assessments, control design, and issue remediation to ensure regulatory adherence and risk appetite alignment. Oversee Enterprise risk program execution, leveraging data analytics to identify emerging risks and inform decision-making. Drive design and enhancement of the Process, Risk & Control environment, including control library integrity and coverage. Interpret regulatory requirements, identify gaps, and develop action plans to mitigate identified risks across business units. Monitor 1st line of defense programs, facilitate training, and provide quality control for investigations and regulatory examinations. Act as a subject matter expert in internal control systems and change management, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure ongoing compliance and program effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in technology or financial services
- Degree in computer science, engineering, info systems, math, or business
- 3+ years of experience in risk or compliance
- Strong analytical and evaluation skills
- Ability to leverage data analytics and insights to assess risk, identify trends, and support risk-informed decision-making
- Ability to interpret regulatory requirements to support governance and related documentation
- Strong data analytics and presentation skills
- Advanced Excel
- Advanced PowerPoint
- Experience with dashboard/analytics tools
- Ability to explain complex technical topics in simple terms to business audiences
- Certifications (asset): CRISC, CGEIT, CISA, CISM, PMP, cloud compliance
- Strong understanding of control frameworks (e.g., COSO, NIST, COBIT)
