Job Summary
Support daily Box Office operations by recruiting, training, and scheduling part-time staff while managing ticket inventory, pricing, and sales execution within the Ticketmaster Host system. Oversee cash handling, financial reconciliation, and event settlements, ensuring strict compliance with policies and ADA standards. Partner with promoters and internal teams to develop ticketing strategies, coordinate presales and VIP packages, and troubleshoot equipment issues to maintain efficient guest flow. Monitor staffing levels and labor utilization across events, preparing accurate daily reports and attendance summaries. Manage ticket printing and distribution for sporting events and concerts while resolving escalated guest concerns. Work flexible evening, weekend, and holiday shifts in a fast-paced arena environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sports Management, Hospitality, Accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three (3) or more years of progressive Box Office leadership experience in an arena, stadium, theater, performing arts center, or other live entertainment venue
- Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience leading full-time and part-time Box Office staff
- Demonstrated experience using Ticketmaster Host and Archtics ticketing systems required
- Strong knowledge of ticketing operations, financial reconciliation, event settlements, inventory management, and cash handling procedures
- Experience collaborating with promoters, touring personnel, sports organizations, and venue leadership in a live event environment
- Working knowledge of ADA ticketing regulations and industry best practices
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours based on event schedules
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, and remain active for extended periods during events
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Advanced knowledge of Ticketmaster Host, Archtics, and computerized ticketing operations
- Strong financial acumen with experience in reporting, reconciliation, settlements, and cash management
- Exceptional guest service, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills
- Proven leadership, coaching, and employee development abilities
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn new technology and adapt to evolving ticketing systems and operational processes
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
- Must be available for weekends, holidays, and extended hours
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, and remain active for extended periods during events
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a union environment preferred
