Job Summary
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance body weld line equipment efficiency and reliability across the production area. Lead long-term maintenance reliability strategies, develop preventative programs using technology, and execute capital and process improvement projects. Manage standardization activities including master maintenance plans, contingency plans, and best practices while troubleshooting chronic line stop issues. Support team development through coaching, mentoring, and reliability Kaizen activities focused on root cause analysis and countermeasure implementation. Translate KPI achievement strategies into concrete action plans via Floor Management Systems and lead evaluation of maintenance cost reduction activities.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- 2+ years' experience in a leadership position in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, welding, and robotic systems
- Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining a positive, solutions-oriented approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work outside of typical business hours
- Ability to travel as needed (domestically and internationally)
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in a leadership position in a high-volume manufacturing environment (Body Weld preferred) or internal demonstrated experience
- 5+ years' experience in a leadership position in a high-volume manufacturing environment (Body Weld preferred) or internal demonstrated experience
- Knowledge of body weld operations, including PLC's (Omron, Mitsubishi), robotics (Kawasaki, Nachi, Yaskawa), and welding equipment
- Working knowledge of Body Weld production processes
