Job Summary
Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of employee recognition, engagement, hospitality, and special event programs for BMO Private Wealth. Coordinate end-to-end logistics including registration, venue management, travel, and attendee experience while supporting the delivery of onboarding, milestone, and retirement recognition initiatives. Partner with business leaders, HR, Marketing, and external vendors to implement strategic initiatives, ensuring activities are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with governance and risk requirements. Monitor program metrics, prepare reports on participation and feedback, and provide insights to support continuous improvement and operational effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Typically, between 5–7 years of relevant experience in event management, employee engagement, recognition programs, hospitality, marketing, human resources, or related disciplines
- post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience managing complex events, recognition initiatives, or employee engagement programs
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong communication, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior leaders, internal partners, and external vendors
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage data and insights to support decision-making
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional experiences
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Collaboration and influence skills
